The price is fixed when you book during the offer period. The dentist decides the scope of treatment at the check-up.
Steps of a comprehensive cleaning
- Check-up. The dentist assesses your teeth and gums, the amount of deposits and sensitivity. Sometimes plaque is stained with a special solution to show the spots you miss at home.
- Ultrasound. Removes hard tartar above the gums. See Tartar removal.
- AirFlow. Removes soft plaque, stains and biofilm from all surfaces and gaps. See AirFlow cleaning.
- Polishing. Pastes or rubber cups smooth the surface so plaque sticks less.
- Prevention. If indicated, fluoride or remineralisation therapy.
- Advice. You'll learn how to clean your problem areas and which products suit you.
Why combine methods
Ultrasound alone doesn't remove all stains, and AirFlow can't remove hard tartar. Together they give a complete clean in one visit. If there's no hard tartar, the dentist may use only AirFlow and polishing.
